Do I need to give DigiLocker access during application?
Voluntary
Short answer: It’s optional/voluntary. You can choose Yes or No; there is generally no issue with form acceptance just because of this choice, unless the official notification specifically makes it mandatory.
- Why it’s asked: To auto-fetch documents (e.g., 10th certificate) directly from DigiLocker for convenience.
- If you choose “No”: Simply upload the required scanned documents as per the given specifications.
- Change later: If an edit window is provided, you may link DigiLocker at that time as well.
- Revoke access: You can remove any granted access from your DigiLocker account settings (look for Linked Apps/Services or Manage Consents).
